Tom Cruise Gives Back His Golden Globes as NBC DROPS the Award Show Amid Diversity Scandal
The 2022 Golden Globe Awards were dropped by NBC on Monday. The network said in a statement, ‘We continue to believe that the HFPA is committed to meaningful reform. However, change of this magnitude takes time and work, and we feel strongly that the HFPA needs time to do it right. As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.’ In addition, ET has confirmed Tom Cruise returned his trophies to the HFPA in protest. The 58-year-old actor added his name to the list of celebrities who have taken action against the organization.

The Oscar-winner partnered with UNESCO and Guerlain at the French Observatory of Apidology. Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Jolie discussed everyday things people can do to help the bee population. She said, ‘You don't have to have a large amount of land. You could keep a few bees, you could plant a few flowers, you could spread a bit of awareness.’
