Sandra Annette Bullock is a well-known actress as well as producer. Her early movies include Speed and While you were Sleeping. Bullock has pulled off a variety of acting roles, and her diversity shines through. She has been in fun films including The Heat and serious dramas including 28 Days.

She was born July 26, 1964. Bullock is tall – 5’ 7”. Her father was in the army and both of her parents were voice coaches for singers and actors. She grew up in Germany due to her father’s work. For 12 years, she lived there and spoke the language. They came to the USA when he got a position with the Pentagon.

She was well liked in high school, and often had lead roles in their productions. She was also a cheerleader. After high school, she attended East Carolina University. She earned her degree in drama in 1986. She worked as a bartender, waitress, and party planner while she tried to get roles in commercials and movies.

It doesn’t take her long to get some roles in New York or to get cast on Broadway. Fortis Films is owned by Bullock, it is her movie production company. She was also the producer for the sitcom George Lopez. She did very well in her role on The Blind Side, even though critics and fans weren’t really impressed with her blonde hair for the role.

In 2007, she had some issues with an obsessed fan that could have been a script for a movie. The woman was sitting outside of Bullock’s home. When she was approached, she ran to her car, then tried to run over her husband, Jesse James.

There have been numerous awards won by Bullock over the years. They include an Academy Award for Best Actress. As of 2012, she is listed as the highest-paid actress at $56 million. Her latest movies The Heat and Gravity have made millions at the box office. She was named Entertainer of the Year by Entertainment Weekly in 2013.

She has been linked to some amazing men in terms of personal relationships. She dated actor Tate Donovan for three years. She also dated Matthew McConaughey, Ryan Gosling, and Troy Aikman for short periods of time.

Sandra Bullock and Jesse James are on the road to divorce, but the couple is putting their best foot forward when it comes to their two kids. A source close to the situation tells PEOPLE that James has been “nothing but great” since the actress filed for divorce on Tuesday. “He’s been a total gentleman,” adds the source, who says that while Bullock and James have had some heated discussions, they’ve “stayed very civil.”

Sandra Bullock was married to Jesse James from 2005 until 2010. They divorced due to him cheating on her. She has an adopted son, Louis Bardo Bullock. She continues to be close with James’ children from his first marriage.
