Tom Cruise is returning his three Golden Globe statues. The awards, for his roles in “Jerry Maguire,” “Magnolia” and “Born on the Fourth of July,” will be given back as Cruise joins others protesting the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the Globes' organizing body that has long been called out for what many have called racist and sexist practices. NBC announced they are canceling next year’s broadcast, and said they hope to return in 2023, pending the HFPA’s “meaningful reform.” #InsideEdition

Tom Cruise Gives Back His Golden Globes as NBC DROPS the Award Show Amid Diversity Scandal
The 2022 Golden Globe Awards were dropped by NBC on Monday. The network said in a statement, ‘We continue to believe that the HFPA is committed to meaningful reform. However, change of this magnitude takes time and work, and we feel strongly that the HFPA needs time to do it right. As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.’ In addition, ET has confirmed Tom Cruise returned his trophies to the HFPA in protest. The 58-year-old actor added his name to the list of celebrities who have taken action against the organization.

Filmography 2010
List of films used and music information are in the video description! This year’s movies have legitimately transformed my idea of what is creatively possible. To commemorate, I’ve remixed 270 of them into one giant ass video. Music: 1. Ratatat – Nostrand – tinyurl.com 2. Kanye West – Power – tinyurl.com 3. Rooney – Not In My House – tinyurl.com 4. Apartment – Fall Into Place – tinyurl.com 5. Civil Twilight – Letters from the Sky – tinyurl.com 6. SUNBEARS! – Little Baby Pines – tinyurl.com By popular request, an MP3 of the first minute: tinyurl.com Films in order of appearance: filmography2010.blogspot.com My heartfelt thanks to everyone for sharing in the love of film with me! Here’s more information about how I put this video together: tinyurl.com Note: My film selection process was fairly open; anything that was either produced or distributed in 2010 was fair game (I also consulted this Wikipedia entry). This is why some movies are labelled 2009 or 2011 on IMDB. Also, this by no means constitutes a comprehensive list of films that came out in 2010. That would have been exhausting.
