They just got one in my grocery store. And the video store is right next to it. So I dont know which to use. Has anyone ever used one, and is it easy? Does it require a credit card? Does it have crazy late fees if I dont return the movie on time?

Hello, Yes, I have used the dvd machines.. You use your credit or debit card .. No late fees .. But you get charged a dollar a day till you return it.. remember too they include sales tax. like here in indiana it’s 6 percent so it would be a 1.06 a day .. it does say that if you don’t return it after 30 days I believe that you will be charged for the entire cost of the dvd.. Hope that does help.. Genna

My sister rents DVDs all the time. The one we get it at is a dollar a day. And yes it requires a credit card. So each day you keep it its another dollar

Yes. I usually use Redbox at McDonalds, because if you rent the movie say at noon, it is not due until 7:00 pm the next day. You can also see what the Redbox machine has on it from you computer, rent it and just pick it up. Yes you need a credit card. Fees are the same 1.00 per day. I just went to my grocery store and rented 2 movies. My kids got sick and now I am on day 3 of rental. I had rented them at 10 AM, so once it was past 10 AM the next day and could not return them in time, I just did not care.

These are the best invention ever. Not only are they $1 a day but if you use the same debit or credit card everytime you rent it remembers what you have already rented. Your card gets charged once you return the dvd.

that’s what i use all the time, it’s much cheaper but you only have 3-4 hours to watch the movie and bring it back. there are late fees (about 1-2$/day). you have to get a prepaid card before starting. I like it.

yeah they have a redbox at a Wal-mart where i live, no late fees, just a dollar or so for every day you keep it and you use a credit or a debit card.
