  9. this movie sucked hairy balls…in every way….i had to go rent the original to wash the stench off——-only one “Rooster”…….and its the Duke……..matt damons version of a texas ranger was so gay i couldnt believe it……leave a great movie alone—and its the ORIGINAL.

Bridges had no heart……NOTHING that made you like him or warmed your heart like Dukes “Rooster”…….there was no characters in this movie that shined—–a complete mess of raw sewage,…..Matt Damons version of Lebeouf was so gay i almost lol—-sorry…….i went out and rented the original …………great movie in every frame——they should have never tried to remake this “gem”…….

  15. Personally I loved this movie. I am a huge fan of the orginal, and it’s my opinion that this is just as good if not better. I think Bridges did a good job as Cogburn, but I still prefer The Duke. As for Damon he did decent, and I liked that he added hints of humor to the film. I loved Steinfeld as Mattie and thought she was perfect for the role! Such a talented young actress! With the Coen Bros injecting their style in the movie and terrific acting, I believe that this is an excellent remake.

  21. i came to this vidio so i could warn all people who have seen this promising trailer to stay away from this, the shitiest western ever made! i could make a better movie in my backyard with noting but a camera that takes pictures! Matt Daman and Josh Brolin were great but even their performances dont make up for “True Grits’ snail like pace and a performance from brideges who you can hardley even understand
