@TheoGary You just saw a trailer, not the actual movie, and anyway 1960s green hornet isn’t the original , this series wouldn,t work in a dark and gritty movie, it being that superhero movie with comedy looks like it works real well, at least watch the movie before critisizing it

@romevi No, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight paid tribute to the comic books, and actually paid respect to the comic books while this movie adds humor in a dark and gritty tv show/comic book and makes the sidekick the hero and the hero the sidekick.

So destroying the stoplight camera seconds after it takes a picture somehow destroys evidence of running a red light? Transmission on those things to a database elsewhere is almost instantaneous, but hey, that’s Hollywood!

Its quite refreshing to finally see an Asian in Western cinema who is a fully fleshed out character with hopes, dreams, motivations AND dialogue rather than a timid and voiceless weiter serving pretty white couples sushi or a cowardly greengrocer who is robbed when the local Hispanic and Black gangs need loose change.
A positive change from evil crap like the live action RAPE of the Anime classic Dragonball Z wherein Son Goku, based on a hero of CHINESE legends, is played by a WHITE kid.
