Take out the trash, eat your broccoli — who needs moms, anyway? In “Mars Needs Moms” nine-year-old Milo finds out just how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she’s nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young. Milo embarks on a quest to save his mom — a wild adventure that involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader. With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble (Dan Fogler) and a rebel Martian girl called Ki (Elisabeth Harnois), Milo just might find his way back to his mom — in more ways than one.

It’s Jesse! :D
But other than that, this doesn’t have the Pixar-quality feeling to it. Then again, it isn’t made by Pixar.
The movie’s got potential though!

this animation is really bad

The mum’s voiced by Joan Cusack, isn’t she? I can hear the Jessie-ness in her voice. Also, Disney, do you not get the concept of uncanny valley?

While the lines and timing are pretty funny- I think this concept would have worked out WONDERFULLY as a short film. :) When I hear “Milo” and see a boy with red hair I jump to Atlantis on accident- just saying, that had nothing to do with anything- It does seem like a smart concept, but it doesn’t seem to last for a full-length film. Just my opinion, I <3 you guys always! :)

I don’t like how the animation looks too real. Might as well used real people.

@joevictor53 Yes she is. The one and only Joan Cusack!

I compared this to the Trailer and Milo sounds completely different from the trailer.
