An abstract ghost story populated by ever-threatening spectres, shadowy souls with evil motives who inhabit a nightmare world within a troubled killer’s psyche. They might offer a smile or a kind word, but their only purpose is to snare others into their Hell. @ChristineCreature Thanks. Yeah, the music is rather good, isn’t it!

Wow – I pretty much agree with everyone else here. :P This looks awesome. :)
HungerCultFilms says
@Berra870927 Thanks, man. This is just the teaser, we’re hoping to get a proper trailer up soon.
Berra870927 says
@HungerCultFilms Looking forward to it. :)

You can’t undertstand what the girl is saying, apart from that it’s a good trailer!
This looks pretty good! Though it doesn’t look very Lynchy, it looks from this trailer more like a horror flick.
murmur54kbr says
Wicked!
HungerCultFilms says
@losador Thanks for the feedback. I think the whole lynch vibe will be wore evident in the actual film, though we had always planned it to be a horror film with lychian elements.
HungerCultFilms says
@murmur54kbr Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated!

Well the editing couldn’t have been easy, so good work on that. But this teaser did nothing to make me want to see the actual movie.
I get that it’s supposed to be spooky, but the viewer also needs some insight on the story. A little too much imagery, and not enough exposition in my opinion. Some really nice visuals though. But man that song isn’t doing much for you either.
Just my two cents.
HungerCultFilms says
@ChrisCapel1998 Thanks for the comments. We were a little limited with the trailer, not having done any real audio post yet, no ADR, foley, fx etc. I guess, like you said, it’s more of a visual montage, rather than a fully fledged trailer setting out a story. Hopefully we’ll manage all that in the proper trailer. As for the music, well, music’s about as subjective as subjective gets! Thanks again.

it looks beautiful!
HungerCultFilms says
@KilgoreWoodsCinema Hey, thanks. I’ve checked out some of your stuff, it looks great too, fantastic lighting in particular.

Very impressive, very professional looking. I really enjoyed this teaser, and am intrigued by it. I am interested in seeing more. Its a teaser, so its not supposed to tell us the plot, story etc… Lots of big films do this. I like it alot. Excellent cinematography, lighting, costume, props. I also liked the song, creepy vibe helped propel the overall theme and feel.

@ChrisCapel1998
That’s why it’s called a teaser trailer. Once the ADR (dialogue) has been recorded we will be creating a full film trailer which, as you might expect, will give greater story exposition. This teaser is really all about ‘nice visuals’.
ChrisCapel1998 says
@HungerCultFilms
Gotta disagree with you here. Take the teaser for “Unbreakable”. It was like 30 seconds long and gave you the premise which made you go, “Ooh, that looks interesting.”
This, on the other hand, is a minute and a half too long and makes me go, “…huh?”
Just sayin, there are plenty of examples of effective teasers out there. It wouldn’t hurt to take notes from them.

HungerCultFilms says
@terriblemoleman Thanks for the comments. We’re planning on getting the film out sometime in July. We’ll let you know then where you can find it.

i like the song!
the movie is pretty good!
ChristineCreature says
@alobko555 Thanks! The song is “Miss Betty Grable” by Christine Leakey. You can find it on myspace and it’s on her upcoming album due for release in the next month or two. :)

I’m sorry, but this was just painful. Really grating on the nerves. But good luck with it. I’m sure someone will watch it.
