what is the song in the trailer????
themerriweathergirlsays
@guilterkilller Wow. Book or Movie Alex?
themerriweathergirlsays
Read the book of Clockwork Orange you wannabes. In the book, Alex doesn’t have a surname, but it is an allusion to when he takes the two teenage girls from the record shop to his room and has sex with them. He calls himself “Alex the Large.” Note the resemblance.

@iOCTPOB that’s not the point of the movie.

@Barnixx2 You are very correct, simply, if you understood the point of the film, you liked it, if not, then you didn’t. It is a simple as that.

Lol. What a trite garbage film. I don’t think every film needs a happy ending, but this was executed terribly. If you want a “sad” ending that was done effectively, watch “The Mist”. Good ending that wasn’t just trying to make some shitty “edgy” statement.
And spare me the “if you don’t like it, why are you commenting on the trailer?”
1. Because not every comment on youtube needs to be positive.
2. I’m pissed I just sat through this, and I am venting.

@Timetakesusall im sorry are u fuckin stupid, it was “executed terribly” u obviously dont understand good cinema if ur saying “the mist” is a good movie ….. and thats so called “shitty statement” was the whole point of of “funny games” saying that movies dont have rules and can do what ever they want so go watch fucken lady in the water or some shit and keep telling youself its a good movie …. faggot

@Timetakesusall The reason the film ends the way it does is because it’s basically mocking the Saw series. It’s a hypothesis. It has an anticlimatic ending, I’ll agree with you there. But the point of the film was made to be upsetting and unfair. And judging by your pissed-off-ed-ness I’m guessing Haneke succeded, right? The ending shouldn’t be the be all end all in the judgement of whether it’s good or not. That’s just my opinion though, no offense meant.
Timetakesusallsays
@forestgirl777 Since your reply was actually coherent, I’ll give a real response. The original of this film predates the saw series, and apparently this is a shot-for-shot remake. And yes, I get that the “point” of the film was to break the rules and upset us, but with such damn awful character development (if there even was any development at all) I found myself actually hoping they’d “lose” due to one anothers sheer stupidity. If the bad guys win, fine. But damn, at least make it exciting.
Timetakesusallsays
@forestgirl777 PS: Film wasn’t so bad up until the point the two douche bags start actually talking to the camera. Thanks for reminding me I’m watching a movie, you turds. Oh, and the remote-rewind part was just ridiculous.

It is called breaking the fourth wall when the actors acknowledge the audience. When used properly, this can be the most powerful moment in a film.
Changeitupnowsays
@InsideMyOpinion Agreed. By breaking the fourth wall, they’re inviting the audience to participate in the torture and murder of this family. It’s an amazing tool that just gives me a sinking feeling in this film.

Probably the most brilliant Director alive. He wanted this story to be heard and probably realized Americans don’t give a shit about foreign films, so we get this remake. The remote part isn’t “bullshit” it’s brilliant. People in the theater clapped when they saw the “bad guy” get killed, and they were disappointed when he came back. Any way you look at it people clapped for a death.
