anyone remember this movie? dont have many details to offer…old time actors (think john candy and chevy chase types but maybe not exactly those guys) made around 1980-1990 (judging from my memory of the video quality.
group of 4 individuals (maybe more), couples on a yacht / sailboat. wasnt really a comedy. in the begining of the movie they were at a large white hotel, it was a very uncomfortable moment for some of the adults as there was a new girl friend (ditsy blond) and ex-wife or the other females didnt approve of how young the woman was with a man of his age. near the middle of the movie at some point they were all together at a cabin, the scene was dark / night time with them all at a table, i believe. most of the movie was them on the boat. near the ending they were at a island or beach (skinny dipping). when they were doing that the boat got lose and i think it went aground or went slowly out of control.
not a pirate, slave or evil, never going to happen type movie. not that pirates are not real.. nor zombies…i remember them meeting up at some cabin that they all got for a holiday. these were known, good actors…not captain ron… cabin boy… not summer rental. think more romantic, and minor comedy. although captain ron cast is in the ball park (movie release date, guessing). not overboard, that was a power yacht. but again close age/period actors.
a part on the boat was when the divorced / separated male and his eye candy female were down below having sex / fooling around, several times throughout the movie. the other adults on deck were embarrassed and making fun of them.
i wanna say one of the women was susan sarandon, but i looked her up and didn’t look like any of her movies matched…i am thinking a woman with poofy hair like her’s was back in the day…
