By that i don’t mean gory, gory is not scary to me. Im talking about a movie that really just messes with your mind, one thats so scary that you wont forget it. One that you would actually think could happen in real life. I’m a huge fan of scary movies, i really haven’t seen one that actually freaked me out, so i want one that will, help me out!

Some movies such as The Exorcist can be very scary but it depends on how you perceive it. If you concentrate on all the nasty stuff she says it can be funny.
I think The Grudge is funny. How can you not laugh at a kid that sounds like a cat?
It also depends on how old you are. Some just aren’t scary when you are an adult. I find Rosemary’s Baby to be funny now. The same goes for The Amityville Horror and The Howling.
Other scary movies I’ve seen are:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
the Saw Series
the Hostel series
The Ring
Descent
Salem’s Lot (talk about some FREAKY vampires!)
Open Water (deeply disturbing and depressing)
Jaws
The Shining (creepy dead twins)
Seven
The Omen
Halloween
Friday the 13th
The Silence of the Lambs

I think the Exorcist is probably the scariest movie ever made. It doesn’t have the reputation for nothing! The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre from the 70s is also good.

i can not remember the name of the movie, but its a true story, and those to me are the scariest. this woman has post pardom depression anyway she kills her baby in the bath tub, her son with the handle of her mirror her daughter with a pitch fork and chases after her other son with a butcher knife. she seems to just show up and it startles you. and then the kid who lived his dad said his mom was better and coming home again..and pregnant…but it was scary!

I thought The Exorcism of Emily Rose to be rather disturbing, it got under my skin.
