This is a very amateur trailer (my first time using iMovie) that I made back in 2008 for my novel “Warm Bodies”, which will be published by Atria Books March 8, 2011 and by Vintage on October 14, 2010 in the UK. It is NOT a trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation by Jonathan Levine. It is NOT an official marketing effort from Atria or Vintage of the other publishers. Music is “We Kill Children”, by me, Isaac Marion. (Cello by Colin Isler) Also a brief clip of “Last Night When We Were Young” by Frank Sinatra.

@ericunderscores Ok, not boring, but more straightforward and in my opinion less creepy.
If you really want to apply “logic” to a supernatural creature, I could point to the fact that modern scientists still have practically no idea how the brain works or how it stores information. The idea here is that zombies stay “alive” by absorbing human life energy (electrical) when they eat them, which keeps their brains functioning on a low level, although none of them have any real memories.

isaacinspace says
@bazukajoe5 It’ll be published by Atria Books sometime this summer, it should be in any major bookstore.

Why you have the necessity of destroying everything, just to make (more) money?
It’s really sad, to see such books as Warm Bodies and Twilight fucking up with decades of fantastic mythologies about vampires and zombies.
What’s next? A transexual Frankenstein or a vegan Warwolf?

i thought a zombie love story was a bad idea when i thought about it. zombies are supposed to be brainless, etc. it’s just not right. but then i read the short story this was based on and then it made sense. seems like it would be loads better than twilight. this seems a lot more complex, somehow. anyway, it’s different. i’ve always been more into zombies than vampires anyway.

I read your short story and I totally feel in love with it. I don’t know it just spoke to me I guess I’m such a huge fan of zombies already that helped, that and I think deep down I have been waiting for someone to come along and do something like this.
I’m totally opened minded about this and can not wait to get my copy of your book, you said by this summer hopefully our book store will get it.
Thankyou for making something that I thought was impossible….well possible:D

I’m glad I found you so many years ago. I wish I had known about this, however. Can’t wait for the real trailer! =)
isaacinspace says
@Danz2544 Sure, why not? It’s pop culture mythology, not holy scriptures.
isaacinspace says
@kokobedima It’s an instrumental version of a song I wrote called “We Kill Children”.
The clip at the very end is Sinatra.
