Back in the 30’s & 40’s they had the studio system. It taught actors how to walk, talk, act, live dress etc……..Yes they were under contract for a while but this is why it was called the Golden Age of Movies. There are very few actors today that can compare with them.
You can count them on the fingers of one hand probably.
