The Dark Knight Movie is a feature-length critic’s audio commentary! It’s a scene by scene, moment by moment analysis of the most financially successful comic book/superhero movie of all time. Arguably, The Dark Knight is the greatest comic book movie ever made. The Joker is one of the greatest cinematic villains of all time brought to life by an Oscar winning performance by Heath Ledger.     1. Listened to the whole commentary last night. It was awesome! But I do disagree with you on Maggie Vs Katie as Rachael. Not saying Katie Holmes wasn’t good in the role, I just thought Maggie made her a more fearless and stronger character.

    4. I hate Maggie Gylenhaal, she sucked and I’m glad she was killed in a huge explosion (freezing the second before she dies is pretty funny, you can see how she’s under a big light and wind simulating explotion). Well, that’s all I have to say LOL

    6. @lynchdj Respect. But, what do you mean by “positive?” If, you mean positive as in I like TDK, then no worries, this commentary is very positive, but at the same time, criticial. LLGM!

    7. @moviepreviewcritic Ok well critical is fine, I just kind of hate it when people say its not a good film and overrated and try to shred it with the few problems they can find.

      I loved Batman Begins more because if you’ve been a long time Batman fan you saw the baby steps are clues of how Bruce Wayne was becoming Batman. The reason I didn’t enjoy The Dark Knight as much is because it focused more on The Joker than Batman himself. Don’t get me wrong Heath Ledger was incredible, but it should be more about Batman. Also killing off two-face was a let down. I expected him to be a cliff-hanger leading to the third movie which would of been more interesting to me

    10. @3amapplecam The “Every Line of Dialog”…I’ve actually been working on a few in my spare, spare time. Maybe one before Christmas, for holiday fun. Too busy with Preview Reviews in the meantime.

    12. really enjoyed your Batman and Robin movie night. It gave me insight into what Joel Schumacher oginially had envisioned for the movie. It kinda gave me new respect for him….. I still think its a really bad movie though :P

    17. Just watched it! with the commentary, good points brought up ,but you should keep on with what’s going on in the scene a little more. Otherwise Bravo.
      P.S (seriously, buy some movies off ITUNES to make the timing really syncronized with the viewer watching on computers)

    20. I was hoping for more batmania but i guess i had to settle for the commentary. I find the commentary good yet one flaw with it. The money launderer is from Hong Kong not Tokyo. It’s just like the Oscars when The Departed was mistakenly based on a Tokyo film when it was based on a Hong Kong trilogy. Get it right, MPC.

    22. Dark Knight “one of the greatest movies ever brought to the screen”? That’s kinda much isn’t MPC? Surely it ain’t better than Rosemary’s Baby or Pinocchio or the Shining?

    24. @marcofrank99 For it’s genre it is. I think i say “comic book movie,” but, even so, it’s a solid all around film that’s very well made and ambitious in its ideas during a time in filmmaking history when “give em’ what they want, what they expect” seems to be enough. It’s kind of like Fargo; a totally well crafted entertaining film, but not in the top 100 ever. Thanks for bringing this up! LLGM!
