    7. it’s fiction, it’s what we would like to be, not what we will be. back in the 1960’s people assumed by the year 2000 every house hold would have at least 1 jet pack…..

    8. I am very confident that we as a human face can achieve what we are seeing in this film, we have 91 years before the start of the new century. Just think, 30 years ago, we could not comunicate like this, now i am on my fourth computer and my first lasted me 7 years, and i even have a robot to help me with the house work, the irobot roomba 560, just imagine what life will be like in 91 years time. If they can find a way to make us life longer that is.

    9. I understand this is a prequel, but is there no one over 25 in the future? With all the angst, disorder and explosions in this stupid trailer this incarnation seems practically the OPPOSITE of Roddenberry’s vision of a mature, even-tempered, cool-headed future. I love ST, but I think I’ll miss this video-game-grade crap.

    11. but you’ll still need alien civilisations to exist in this universe or else going anywhere is like going to mars nothing but a dry dull desert. Anyway even if aliens exist, you’ll still need to hope that they r evilso you can fight them or else again its pretty boring just a tour may as well tour on earth. Maybe you’re still young but sometimes things r better if they exists in your mind, afterall God gave us imagination to do that
