Saw it yesterday, 12/29/10. Would recommend it. Pay attention to the opening shot/scene. It’s a metaphor for his life and it sets up the rest of the film.

I just watched the movie, it is completely horrendous. I don’t understand how you can put so little content in such a long movie. Why do I have to watch him sitting there and doing nothing for 2 minutes? Why do I have to watch the whole stripper 2 min dance TWICE to understand it? So many little important scenes that take FOREVER.
Why are there almost no dialouges in the entire movie? Why is he divorced from his wife? What’s the point of watching him and his daughter playing videogames 10 min?
