This is something I have been trying to remember but when it comes to renting movies, isn’t there a deal between Netflix, and i think another movie rental place, and I believe that it is Redbox, where certain movie studios will release it to them for rental 30 days after its release. It is not all of them, I have been noticing, like Disney if they have a new movie being released on dvd, and bluray, Netflix gets them at the same time of its release. And then there are other movies like the Social Network, where they released on dvd, but Netflix and thier customers have to wait 30 days before they get it. I know that the Social Network is out now on dvd, and Netflix has the release date as of 2/8/11. Somebody please remind me if this deal did happen, or if I do just have such a better memory, and if Redbox if they were also apart of this deal as well?

http://www.blockbuster.com tells you up to 2 weeks in advance on what movies are coming out on dvd
you do no need to be a member to check out what movies are coming out. click on rent and then bring the arrow down to where it says what;s new and a screen comes down and then take arrow to the right new releases and you’ll see what’s coming out by clicking where it says coming out this week, or next week or even week before
