The best gift from my dad was setting me up to be a Cub fan. Grew up in Belmont just a couple miles from Wrigley.:)

The home team was one player shy,
At the “Field of Dreams” in the sky.
I gave them the word
That I could play third
And “This Old Cub” doesn’t lie.

I bought this for my father for Father’s Day. It’s awful that he didn’t get into the HoF while he was alive. I think that when he does (and he will) that his family refuses the award and tells them to shove it. That ain’t right, because all it will prove is that he should have been in there a long time ago and should have been awarded it when he was able to enjoy it. RIP Ronnie. You will be missed.
DKimler says
It won’t be the same without you Mr. Santo.. but we all know your going to have a blast drinking a bud outside of Wrigley with Mr Carey and watching the game from the best seats in the house and now you won’t miss a game. :) R.I.P Ronny we all are going to miss you terribly.
