Lost Boys: The Thirst Official Trailer

Exclusive preview of the upcoming movie Lost Boys: The Thirst. “The thankless life of a vampire hunter has taken its toll on Edgar Frog. After losing best friend and fellow vamp fighter, Sam, he has started to let himself slide. He’s down to selling his prized comic book collection just to pay rent on a decrepit trailer when stunning vampire novelist Gwen approaches with an offer. She needs him to find her brother who has gone missing after getting sucked into a series of underground raves, called ‘The Gathering,’ held an enigmatic spinner named DJ Dusk. In a last, frantic message he mentioned being given a new party drug known as The Thirst, which turned out to be a mixture of ecstasy and vampire blood. Gwen shows Edgar a vile of the The Thirst, explaining DJ Dusk must be a head vampire and he’s using his parties to raise an army. With the last rave, ‘The Final Gathering,’ only days away Edgar must assemble a vamp-hunting team worthy of crashing the party, and hopes to include his reclusive brother who’s dealing with his own dark past. Before the battle is over Edgar will discover there is a greater evil at work and must face his most haunting fear”

    4. @sl3ptsolong The original creators actually tried for YEARS to create a second film, not long after the first one came out, so it indeed WAS intended to have a sequel. “Lost Girls” and “Lost Boys: Devil May Cry” were both scripts that were considered.

      Although I agree, Lost Boys: The Tribe sucked balls… it was nothing but a poor, modern-day remake of the original w/ way too much cursing, sex, and poorly-done slasher- effects. And of course they put Cory Feldman in just to get ppl 2 see it.

    11. i hope theres not as much sex as there was in the second one, because it ruins the story but what can we do, directors think putting sex scenes will keep the audience interested when really its just a waste of time.

    19. that actually looks pretty decent for a direct to dvd film. at least they’ve gone a different direction than the tribe which was kinda a re-has of the original.

      nothing will compare to the original but this def looks entertaining. and btw lost boys was always originally intended to become a bigger franchise but they couldnt get the funding back in the day.

      i could def see more adventures of the frog brothers down the line. they already did a comic.
