They sort of ruined the story. I mean it is still the same story, but I mean they made it all visual effects, and little substance. Also I never really imagined scrooge acting the way he did in this movie.

@rudypen1216 Loosely modeled after his face, yes.

Man, I watched this at the theaters months ago around christmas and it really scared me. I had nightmares for two days the first time I saw it about scrooge and me falling down a blackhole and me having to defeat Marley. But the second time, no.

Jim Carrey was great in this christmas story and in the Grinch ten years ago

@marcuacar The grinch came out 10 years ago already? I remember being a little boy going to the cinema to watch it with my mum and sis. It seems like yesterday

We were originally going to see that movie on Christmas Eve…until the night before I threw up in the middle of the night…I must’ve had too much popcorn, chips, root beer, and candy while watching “The Prince of Egypt” as a class in school just before Christmas Vacation…I never got to see it :(

I hear everyone say this movie was too dark for children. Well Dickens original story was not really meant for children. As a 21 year old i enjoyed it
G0RD13Z says
I dont know well this is my opinion but…does anyone else think that the disney movies are getting alittle scaryer for kids???
Tyser007 says
@iremixtunez This movie is not available until 11/16/10. Disney will no doubt offer a printable discount coupon for the movie but it can only be used for the 4-disc Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+Blu-Ray 3D/”Blu-Ray II” combo pack. How much the coupon will take off of this combo is hard to say. I am hoping that Disney will offer a $20 or $30 off coupon because the original price of this combo pack is supposed to cost $44.99, Disney’s most expensive combo pack yet.

@G0RD13Z Maybe compared to the ones lately, but not the older Disney films :)
RoboJediNeo says
@iremixtunez I’d guess it isn’t out yet. In my experience, I have observed over the past 10 years or so that when a Christmas movie is in theaters one year it isn’t released to buy until the following holiday season. We’re probably looking at sometime in November :)
checkers1245 says
It sucks that this isn’t out on DVD yet. What are they waiting for?
mfctom300 says
BRILLIANT FILM
Some bits are scary though … especially the horses at the end.
Cant wait for christmas xD
