There are many ways to do that
1)If you’re using Windows XP, go to Start > Accessories > Entertainment > Windows Movie Maker. If you import the ASF, you should be able to rotate it.
2)Also easily accomplished with vitualdub.
File > Open video file (open your file)
Video > Filters > Add > Rotate (rotate however youwant)
File > Save As AVI
3) Go to the web site
http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
Down load it
Then download this
Use the program called SUPER to convert the file to uncompressed .AVI (very very little quality degradation), then used filters in VirtualDubMod to rotate the video, clip out the section that I want, resize (without stretching) the frame to 4:3, and finally recompress.

Photographs can be rotated either while viewing them in the camera or while viewing them on the computer.
Videos cannot be rotated.
