  1. @885808326 that was just peoples reaction to the casting, not the movie trailer,, when keaton was cast as batman, people were like beetlejuice as batman ? wha the hell,, but when the first trailer was actually released in the movie theater people were AMAZED on how the movie looked,, it got peoples attention, and faith that the movie might be real good,,, but for this green lantern, the movie treailer that is suppose to get our attention and faith, looks like SHIT, and the mask is horrible

  4. @JOKAWILD26 You’ve got to stop thinking so negatively. Just 2 mins of footage doesn’t mean the entire movie’s gonna suck & is gonna look exactly like this. Trailers are not always exact to the final draft of the film. Warner Bros is still in post production with the film’s cgi & script until June 17, You’ve gotta stop acting so much of a critique until you’ve actually seen the whole film.

  7. @narusteph the green lantern is black, white, and Gay…there is more than one. The ring gets passed on so that would explain how Hal Jordan got it and how the others get it.

  17. normally I would lament how terrible this film would be and damning hollywood to the deepest pits of hell, but the bastards are using mah boi Ryan Reynolds……*sigh*

    fuck it. lets just see how it turns out. if it turns out to be bad, I blame hollywood, not Mr. Reynolds. but I still think he’d be better as Wally West. (that’s The Flash, for all you non-DC fans out there) also, everyone stop arguing over whether DC is better than Marvel. they each have their pros and cons.

  20. I think the mix of seriousness, drama, and humor is going to be good for the film. Dark doesn’t always work for every character. Last time I checked Hal Jordan while being around had to have a bit of a personality change. He’s been known to be boring for the most part last time I checked. This could be good for the character and changes have to be made to make the leader character likable to the audience. Honestly though I did see RR as Flash first but he could be okay here. Wally Flash.

  25. @greenlanternjmp and where did you get that from? I own several of the original gl and justice league comics. Hal Jordon is the green lantern in all of them.
