Disney’s A Christmas Carol Movie Trailer

Jim Carrey, you are a busy, busy man. First you’re a gay cop in Texas, and now you’re Ebenezer Scrooge in the upcoming Disney revamping of A Christmas Carol, hitting theatres well, well ahead of Christmas, November 6th. Carrey plays not only Scrooge but also all three ghosts of Christmas in all the points of the space-time continuum in the classic story of a greedy Victorian miser who discovers, in true movie-cliche form, the true meaning of Christmas. Check out the trailer. Screaming, hilarity, physical comedy…looks like all the hallmarks of a Jim Carrey movie are well in place. But does Jim Carrey-brand slapstick translate well to a Christmas movie? Will this be the next Scrooged? Or the next The Ref? Hit the comments section below and tell us what you think! Thanks for watching! Disney’s A Christmas Carol Cast: Jim Carrey, Cary Elwes, Bob Hoskins, Colin Firth, Gary Oldman, Robin Wright Penn, Tom Hanks, Michael J. Fox Disney’s A Christmas Carol movie trailer courtesy Walt Disney Pictures. Disney’s A Christmas Carol opens in US theaters November 6th, 2009. Disney’s A Christmas Carol is directed by Robert Zemeckis.

I loved this movie. Loved the animation, loved the performances…However, the part where he gets really small is, while mildly entertaining, incredibly pointless. Still, it’s a great version of the story, and I suppose I’ll watch it every year now.

To all you Christmas fans out there! I’m going to show a Christmas film at school for a group of 13 – 15 year olds. Which film would you prefer to show? I was thinking of this one or “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. Which one’s the best? You might also suggest alternatives.

5/5 stars.. the animation is incredible and very well done.. the only thing that could have made it better is narration.. sure you loose the sense of suspense, but the writting of Charles Dickens in this timeless holiday classic is just too good to leave out.. if it had that, I would have given it a 6th star..

Disney should make more movies like this, without caring wheter it’s scary or not or if it’s not suitable for children
