  3. that was a good review. It’s funny how this movie is constantly gaining a big following, a cult status if you will, and even appearing on the A.V. club’s New Cult canon list. I wonder, have you seen my review of it? We both noticed the obvious Home Alone parallel XD.

    Also, the gun “Wildey” was created by a mom and pop gun company that was on the verge of bankruptcy before the film aired, gun sales for the Wildey soared after the films release and continued to rise anytime it aired on Cable TV, saving the company and it’s staff :)

  16. Fun fact: The rocket launcher used to kill the chief villain looks like an M-72 LAW. If so, there are a couple of facts one should consider. First, the rocket needs to fly 50 meters before the warhead is armed. This is a safety measure so the guy shooting the rocket doesn’t blow himself up. Second, when firing said weapon you need to have at least 2 meters of space between the back end of the launcher and the nearest vertical obstacle. This is to ensure that the backblast doesn’t fry the shooter

  19. Only one minor correction– The teeth in the board came from a previous use. (It had hit someone and some of his teeth were still embedded in it.)

    TAKEN reminded me of this, with old geezer Liam Neeson kicking the absolute SHIT out dozens of people a third his age.

  23. I don’t really care about the “Death Wish” sequels, the first movie was rich in plot, character development, action and drama. The sequels made Bronson a clechie action hero.

  25. lol, Death Wish is usually considered good, Death Wish 2 is considered mediocre, Death Wish 3 is considered so bad it’s good……sadly, its only downhill from there. Im surprised you havent reviewed this already.
