Well, this could be a sign of movie hope and the return of quality cinema, on the other hand they could be making movies about the Smurfs and Yogi Bear.

list of decent CGI animated films.
All the Pixar movies
Shrek 1 and 2
How to train your Dragon
Kung Fu Panda
All the Robert Zemekis’s CGI movies
Despicable Me (was okay, the reason why I watched it because of positive words of mouth. I love thoses Cornpop looking creature, they steal the show)
Monster House (I love that movie when I was kid, and I like it today)
Cloudy with the chance of Meatball (great use of 3D)
Surf’s Up (Borat meets Happy Feet)

Kingdom007Hearts says
@Redrally the movie isn’t the worst movie ever i believe that it should have been called something else without the ‘final fantasy’ attachment.
b/c i think most people when they see the title ‘final fantasy’ they think of characters from FF7, FF8, or FFX.

Cameron Diaz can replace Angela Jolie XD

I have very little confidence in Hollywood these days. In just a few weeks we will be back on the same unoriginal path again. But well, Inception were awesome so we can at least be happy about that :).

themoviedoc says
The only problem with your theory is board game & toy movies. Battleship, Lego, Monopoly and such could possibly destroy the effect of Inception.
PittsBurghFuzz says
@onewingedllama you’re forgeting an important one…Shrek the Third!
CTALONS says
You forgot Dark City. Yeah for us!
Glennzorz2 says
@onewingedllama people notice the lack of pixar films in this spot on list just proves that they not only the best animated studio ever but there probably the most reliable filmakers going to today when it comes to making brilliant films
KDanielsS says
“Happily never after” was a terrible CGI animated film:
It was a badly animated, Shrek clone (when I think about it there where a lot of terrible CGI animated fairy tales spoofs after Shrek, including shrek 3 and 4).
Spoothead12 says
Anything by Dreamworks.
TehMoovehNerd says

…Space Chimps.

Inception taking #1 for the 3RD WEEK!! Just seen it again this past weekend. It gets better with each repeated viewing. I thought you were gonna breakdown & just say “Aww SHET!!”, on pronouncing Chiwetel MPC.

I notice really quite a number of sites which look interesting and worth a read. There’s nothing worse than sifting through limitless blah blah blogs just to find a couple that keep your interest. Many thanks. Great job!
