@owlcu Rachel wasn’t that strong either. Roy and the others were Nexus 6, meaning superhuman strength and speed. But its mentioned by Tyrell that these superpowers come at a cost of limited lifespan. Like some electrical appliance running on full power, will not last as long.
Deckard could be an older model (definitely he’s different), explaining his normal strength and speed. And because he’s not running on suped up power like they are, he too has the normal lifespan.

@ReturnedGrazzt Very good, clear explanation… thank you.

Deckard is a raging alcoholic.
kidrites says
Deckard is a raging alcoholic. It’s diminished his replicant powers. Which is why the other replicants kick his ass all over the big screen.
ghostwhisper666 says
his not a replicant ffs people stop trying to sound smart by interpreting your own bullshit. His a long time Blade Runner. If you weight up all the evidence you will find there is more evidence that points to him being human. His the most humane person in the film.

No dislikes, that’s amazing!! Almost every video these days has at least one dislike, this movie has to be pretty damn good to not get one.

Great movie, bad trailer.
dcj28 says
As much as i love Scott for making my favourite film of all time, i can never forgive him for persuading lots of fans that deckard is a replicant, something he did merely to give it a twist ending. Think about it, making deckard a replicant shits on all the thematic complexities and all the meaning beforehand, more than i even have space for here. Everytime i ask a deck-a-rep fan what deckard being a replicant achieves, all they can say is ‘imagine you found out you are what youre chasing’.

@dcj28 Hi ! Maybe you need to look at things from a different angle – for example what is the significance of Deckard’s dream sequence where he sees the white mmmmmm – it means absolutely nothing until one of the final scenes where Deckard and Rachael make their escape – he finds the small replica figure on the floor. Implants – how could anyone have known otherwise !
Also remember the line ” You’ve done a man’s job …………………… I rest my case !
MRBUSY1000 says
@mistyeyedsurprise the trailer is so S**T – the movie however is quite simply the most wonderful film ever produced xxxxx
