The Academy of Television Arts & Science Foundation’s Archive of American Television preserves the rich history of television by videotaping interviews with the legends and pioneers of the medium. From the inventors of electronic television, to those behind the camera, to television’s biggest stars — from every point of view the Archive collects firsthand accounts from the men and women who were there. Information on nearly 600 completed interviews with broadcast legends can be found at emmytvlegends.org

I’ve just heard about this organization yesterday! What an incredible idea! Communications majors as well as ‘net surfers like myself have been waiting for something like this for years! Thank you!

Just found this site, WOW to put a face/Person to the TV shows that we have watched for these many many years, And
get to see the personalty behind the actor, These videos/Interviews may have been intended for future generations, But
I bet there are a lot of the old generation who are going to find out just why we liked a show/actor, I did. Thank You people that made this happen. Jerlalaland.
