My 2nd ScoopFree electronic cat litter box in 3 years has now died on me. I am now in the market for another electronic cat litter box. Not sure if I want to get another ScoopFree since I think spending 0 in 3 years on electronic litter boxes is a little much and I also don’t have the 0 to spend. They seem to wear out quickly for just 2 cats. Wanted to see what has worked best for other cat lovers out there. Suggestions?

I know this was already said, but I have to agree that the Omega Paw Roll n’ Clean litter box is amazing. I bought one about a month ago from Pet-co for like 30$ and I love it! I have two cats, one is 2 years old and one is 9 months, and they both use it religiously. Not only do my cats love the Omega Paw, I love it too! It’s so much easier to get rid of their waste (and believe it or not it’s kind of fun too). Now that I don’t have to go through the hassle of scooping, I find myself emptying it twice a day (as opposed to once every two or three days like I did with my old litter box). This has helped with the smell, and also keeps the cats from pooping elsewhere. I highly recommend it, I’ve even heard it’s easier than the expensive electronic boxes.

I know this doesn’t answer your question but there is a litter box called the Omega-Paw self cleaning litter box. It isn’t electronic like you wanted…but it is cheaper and more durable than the ones you have used. If you are unfamiliar with this product then there is a 2 minute youtube video that will show you how it works. Yes it does require a bit of maintenance but it is a cheaper solution. The Omega-Paw usually sells for around $30.
