When I want opinion I read the editorials and opinion sections in all media variations. I would like to see reporting as factual instead of bias in either direction. I recently find it difficult to believe in what media presents.
What can the public viewing audiences do to change the bias direction the media is heading into?
Human Spider says
The media has gone so far down that road it is hard to say if we can ever save them. The news used to be smarter than the public, now the public is smarter than the news. We are smarter because we have to be.
One way to backtrack would be to shoot down news Nazis like Clear Channel. They have monopolized radio news and no one said a peep about it. I was floored. The best way to keep the media honest is to have a whole bunch of media. When it becomes streamlined, we all loose because just a few people can tell us what to think.
This was a great question. The American public needs to stand up and give the news media a swift kick in the arse.
