Movie Poster Frames
I’m an entertainment addict, and love nothing more than to watch DVDs, sports and primetime TV series on my 50-inch plasma television. It’s a terrific way to unwind after a long day at work, especially if there’s popcorn and beer involved as well!
I’m currently working on setting up a state-of-the-art media room in my basement so that I can enjoy my movies, music, and video games in a pleasant environment. I’ve already got the basics in place, including all of my video and audio systems, comfortable furniture, and a mini bar. I even had a contractor come in to soundproof the room so I don’t disturb anyone else in the house when I crank up the volume. Now all that’s left for me to do is buy movie poster frames for decorating the walls.
I figured framed movie posters would be the perfect way to finish off my media room, as I’m sure they’ll add to the ambiance and make my viewing experiences much better. Unfortunately, the movie poster frames that I found at the mall were so expensive that there was no way I could justify spending all that money just for decorations.

But since I’ve already got all these posters sitting here in my basement, I decided that I shouldn’t give up so quickly. I knew I could probably get cheap movie poster frames online; however, I was worried that the shipping costs would more than offset any initial savings. That’s why I didn’t check online in the first place.
To my surprise, I discovered that some online retailers were offering quality movie poster frames for up to 70 percent off the prices I saw at the mall! I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting to see such huge discounts, so that definitely changed everything. In addition, I was positively floored by the selection of colors, framing styles, and sizes that I saw. Besides the standard 27″ x 41″ movie poster frames that everyone carries, I noticed that several of the online retailers I checked offered custom sizing options — something that the mall certainly didn’t offer.
Anyway, with the deep discounts I found online, I can buy all the movie poster frames I need to decorate my media room just the way I want to. Even after I include shipping charges, I’m still coming out ahead in this deal. I can’t wait to get my orders in and see what my finished room will look like!

Great post, I just wanted to add that I have been selling Movie Poster Frames for the past 10 years, I am the owner of Spotlight Displays. Our frames are on the more expensive side but once you have them on the wall you will know why. And the great thing about them is that you can change your posters in and out without ever taking the frame off the wall.
Protecting your posters should be another concern as the value of them will usually increase over time if they are originals and not reprints. Our frames come with 2 overlays that are both UV Protective and Acid Free. Both sheets have one non-glare side and one clear. Most original movie posters released after 1985 are sized 27 x 40, prior to that they were 27 x 41. If you buy reprints then they can be any size.
We can custom cut any size you need. Movie poster collecting is a great hobby, and decorating a house with them is even more fun!
